I recently discovered Movable Type and this appears to be an excellent blogging tool. This can generate lots of traffic by inviting people to post comments with links.

Also each blog gets posted as a static page and this helps in the search engine rankings.

I am a great fan of Site Build It as it allows you to build a whole Web business all by itself, without needing any other tool. Almost everything is taken care of, even research.

The only hitch was, you had to select from some pre-defined template designs only and the web designer in me protested. I wanted to have a unique design, not fill in the blanks in some boxes (though truly speaking, this method is really fast for non-techies - no technology to bother about, no syntaxes to remember).

Dr. Ken Evoy has really taken care of this uniqueness problem now. Site Build It now allows you to upload your own HTML and still take advantage of all the useful facilities offered by Site Build It - Productivity enhancement tools, traffic builder, newsletter manager, spam check et al.
