Are you wondering who are the people behind SEOtop10.com?

Ok. So here is the place to tell my story :)

I am Arun Agrawal. A post-graduate in Electronics Engineering from Jadavpur University in Calcutta, India. I have been offering software development and LAN services after I passed out but never got excited enough about these operations.

I have been marketing ebooks and other stuff as an affiliate on the Internet since 1999 but SEO really got my excited. So in early 2002, I started optimising my web sites for various keywords of my interest and the traffic to my web sites started going through the roof. Then I realised the power of top 10 rankings.

However when I used to talk to various clients, they were always complaining of 1 thing - they have a web site for years but never got any enquiries. And that Interrnet marketing is the biggest scam ever!

That pushed me to offer my services on a professional basis to these clients through SEOtop10.com. And now I have served several clients in getting the top 10 ranking on major search engines and the massive flow of business that comes as a result.

We operate from Calcutta in India. We have a small team of 6 executives who help me in analysing the client web sites and putting together a strategy for optimizing their sites.

Do I love this job?

Oh absolutely! You see, SEO is interesting because the target is always moving. Search engines are always changing the rules and therefore, what worked yesterday does not carry much weight today. Even the search engines change in popularity. While Google dominated the search engine space in 2003 and early 2004, Yahoo and MSN have come a long way. But we face less problems because we do not employ unethical short-cuts on the client sites.
